About Me

“Teachers are those who use themselves as bridges, over which they invite their students to cross; then having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own”

-Nikos Kazantzakis

Hello,  and thank you for visiting my website!

I am a dedicated and reliable child care provider, offering warm, friendly, and fun care to children and their families in a safe and nurturing environment!

I found myself drawn to working with children as a teenager,  volunteering at summer camps and then working my first job at the daycare center of a local gym in Marin County as Senior in High School.

I found working with children fascinating,  which inspired me to learn more.  After graduating high school I attended San Francisco State University,  where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development with an emphasis on Young Child & Family. I also hold a certificate in Baking & Pastry, as well as, an A.A. degree in Behavioral Sciences and Liberal Arts.

I have worked with a wide range of children, although most of my early years I worked with children ages 3 to 5.  Since 2010 I began my work with infants and toddlers.  After moving back from South Africa,  where I worked at a Montessori Center,  I stared work at a home daycare,  which I eventually ended up managing.  After it’s closure in 2013,  I opened Little Palms Day Care.

My priority for caring for young children is to create an atmosphere where your child will feel safe and encouraged to learn about themselves and the world around them.  With a compassionate heart and understanding towards children’s emotional needs I ensure that your child is given the attention and special care they deserve to foster a positive early experience with me that will stay grounded with them for years to come.

I am dedicated to incorporating my extensive background in education and childcare to create a meaningful experience for your child and family.
