My Program

In my program your child will receive an intentional care experience that is geared toward your child’s individual needs and interests.

I do not believe in passive care so your child’s day will consist of lots of interaction, learning experiences, art, music & even dance! With intentional and meaningful interaction I will encourage your children’s self guided exploration, positive social-emotional development, creative expression, an interest in the natural world, as well as fostering positive self images and self-sufficiency.

I very much believe in the Montessori philosophy, “help me to do it myself,” and my commitment is to guide your child to learn by doing and to incorporate a sense of learning and accomplishment into their time with me.

I have experience caring for infants and toddlers ages 4 months and up.

My care routine will closely mimic your child’s regular home routine and any adjustments or natural changes will always be communicated.

For your infant I will work closely with you to accommodate my care to create maximum continuity between your family home and my own and keep consistent communication about the development of your young child.

I will provide a variety of sensory explorations which exercise gross and fine motor skills and have activities aimed at strengthening the body in preparation for the next steps and of course are filled with lots of love, cuddles and smiles.

The goal for infant care is to form secure attachments and help your baby develop trust in the world around them. This is achieved with highly responsive care, holding and talking to your baby regularly and providing stimulating interaction that will increase their development by compassionate caregiving.

When it comes to toddlers and preschoolers my focus is on safety, fun and empowerment. I seek to create a safe and stimulating environment and experience to give your child the freedom to explore the world around them and learn about themselves and others. Through the open environment and one on one guidance your child will begin to build a strong sense of self and they will begin to feel empowered. Your toddler will gain the emotional and behavioral skills needed to ensure a successful transition into a larger center, preschool or other learning program.
